Granted this world premiere isn’t going to be as big as Britney’s last week, it will still be talked about by the flood of Selena Gomez fans. Emma Watson: Taking a break from school.

In getting the final Harry Potter film wrapped up, actress Emma Watson is taking a break from her studies at Brown University and focus on other acting projects. In a statement posted on her website, the sophomore history major at the Ivy League school in Providence, R.I. says;

"I love Brown and I love studying pretty much more than anything" but juggling her responsibilities as a student and her professional commitments has "become a little impossible."

Adam Sandler is Dead

Actor Adam Sandler is reported to have died shortly after a snowboard accident earlier today - March 7, 2011.

The actor & novice snowboarder was vacationing at the Zermatt ski resort in Zermatt, Switzerland with family and friends. Witnesses indicate that Adam Sandler lost control of his snowboard and struck a tree at a high rate of speed.

Adam Sandler was air lifted by ski patrol teams to a local hospital, however, it is believed that the actor died instantly from the impact of the crash. The actor was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident and drugs and alcohol do not appear to have played any part in his death. - Global Associated News

After this news was posted on the Global Associated News website, reports that Actor Sander is dead have been spreading like a virus through the internet. Twitter users were very fast to buy the hoax last night and the news about Adam's death quickly spread like a virus. Thankfully though, Adam Sandler is alive and well.

Phil Collins will quit from the music business?

It is sad that Phil Collins might call it quits from the music business. Reports said that the singer/songwriter had developed hearing problems. He has a dislocated vertebra and nerve damage in his hands from playing the drums. But more than his slight disabilities, Phil Collins doesn't think he fits in the current music world and figures it's best to go out quietly. :'(

“It’s a good time to stop.” “I look at the MTV Music Awards and I think: ‘I can’t be in the same business as this’.

“I don’t really belong to that world and I don’t think anyone’s going to miss me. I’m much happier just to write myself out of the script entirely.

Natalie Portman has been criticized by Gov. Mike Huckabee, for being pregnant out-of-wedlock and Natalie had no immediate comment on former Arkansas Gov. Huckabee's remarks about her.

Former governor of Arkansas Mike Huckabee said that Natalie is giving a “distorted” image of parenthood because she can afford to look after a child on her own, while many other American single mothers could not do the same.

“One of the things that’s troubling is that people see a Natalie Portman or some other Hollywood starlet who boasts of, ‘Hey look, you know, we’re having children, we’re not married, but we’re having these children,’ and they’re doing just fine,” Mike said.

Taylor Swift has unveiled the support acts for her approaching North American tour.

Taylor Swift, will be endorsed by the likes of Frankie Ballard and Danny Gokey on her upcoming tour of the US, reports Cmt.com. The rock-band Needtobreathe have already been confirmed as the main opening act for the tour, but Swift has named a number of new artists who are set to perform brief sets at the start of each show. 28-year-old Ballard, who won Kenny Chesney's 'Next Big Star' competition in 2008, will join Swift for ten of the arena shows. Randy Montana will perform at concerts in Detroit, St Paul, Pittsburgh, Buffalo and Hartford, while the singer-songwriter James Wesley will join Swift in Greensboro, Knoxville and Louisville. The highly-anticipated tour is set to kick off on May 27th 2011 in Omaha, Nebraska.

Taylor Swift's self-titled debut album, which she released in 2006, has officially been certified quintuple platinum after selling over 5 million copies. The 21-year-old begins the European leg of her world tour this week, playing concerts in Belgium, Holland, Norway and Germany before moving onto the UK to perform in Manchester, Belfast, Dublin and London.

Talks are circling around town that John Stamos will be replacing Charlie Sheen on Two and a Half Men. He recently denied claims but it looks that he just might be.

Sources say John has been speaking to CBS CEO Les Moonves about filling the gap left by Sheen’s suspension from the show.

Moonves approached Stamos at a party last week at the Beverly Hills Hotel, reports E! News.

“They were at the bar talking, and Les asked John if he’d be interested in replacing Charlie,” a source said.

“It wouldn’t be to play Charlie’s character, but they talked more about introducing a new character.”
